HeadMaze is a four-story immersive art experience looking for its permanent home.
After building its first prototype in 2019, Headmaze was starting to work with multiple city governments to find a permanent location and introduce itself to the world. My challenge was to create a web experience that would convey mystery and excitement while simultaneously explaining this new “immersive monument” concept.
With the Headmaze team, I worked to understand current and prospective audiences, and how certain messages were resonating.
It became clear that there was a ton of inspiration and interest, but the team was having a hard time explaining the scope of the project and the capacity of the team to execute the vision.
Together, we created video and images to visually convey the potential of this space as both a piece of art and a business opportunity. I also worked with the lead artist to turn his poetic words into concrete value propositions and headlines.
Headmaze is an art piece about mental health, but it’s also a surreal playground where the space between real and unreal become blurred.
It was important to keep the vibe playful while inviting the audience to explore the depths of the concept.
